Looking after your physical and mental wellbeing, is the most important thing you can do as a model. Modelling isn't just about looking your best, but more importantly, feeling good and confident! We have put together a list of our top 5 wellbeing tips, to help you thrive as a model.
Eat a healthy & balanced diet
Ensure that you're eating a healthy diet that doesn't cut out any food groups. Think about adding nutritious foods to your diet, rather than taking things away. This will help you feel good and energised to get through busy shoot days.
Find a workout routine that you enjoy
Regular exercise will help you to look and feel confident on jobs. Find a workout routine that you actually enjoy, which will make it easier for you to stay consistent longterm.
Create a morning/evening routine
Spend at least 30 minutes at the beginning and end of your day to unwind, for example: reading, yoga, meditation. This will improve your sleep and reduce stress; especially before shoot days.
Find your go to skincare routine
As a model, a good skincare routine is a must. Find products that work for you and stick to a routine. Avoid trying any new products that could irritate your skin, especially on days leading up to shoots / shows.
Communicate with your agency
Communicate with your agent regularly. Let them know your career goals, and discuss how to achieve them. Your booker is your best friend in your professional AND personal life. You are welcome to pop into the agency regularly for a catch up.
